The Twin Tuner can be used on 2003-2007 Buell? models equipped with DDFI electronic fuel injection. The engine control module (ECM) and signal connections differ from those used on Twin Cam models. You can follow the general steps in the Twin Tuner installation instructions, except refer to Table 1 below for wiring hookup. Note that the Buell? ECM has two 12 terminal Deutsch connectors: gray and black. To disassemble Deutsch connectors, use a small flat screwdriver to pry off the orange secondary locks and lift up the retaining tabs to release individual terminals.
