Renault 21 is a successor of Renault 18 that was launched in 1986 and produced until 1994. The man behind this large family car’s design is Giorgetto Giugiaro. Renault 21 (or simply R21) was also sold as Renault Medallion and Eagle Medallion through American Motors (AMC) in North America. The Renault Clio range of small hatchbacks has enjoyed much success in Europe since the original model was released in 1990.
