Cityliner New version of a classic bus

The Cityliner – 35 years old and as fresh as ever. NEOPLAN premiered its newly designed Cityliner coach at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in September 2006. 35 years after the presentation of the first high-deck coach of this kind, the new Cityliner sets visual and technical standards in its class, continuing a long NEOPLAN tradition of creating buses that are not only extremely functional but also downright attractive. The top-ofthe- range touring coach made its appearance at the IAA as a two-axle high-decker 12.24 metres in length (the Cityliner HD). Another version with three-axles is already available with a length of 12.9 metres (the Cityliner HDC), to be followed later by one of 13.9 metres (the Cityliner HDL). This entirely newly conceived coach generation from NEOPLAN marks a new chapter in the history of the Cityliner, more than 7,000 of which have been sold all over the world since 1971. exterior and interior – balanced Elegance The new NEOPLAN Cityliner embodies bus design at its very best. Its lines radiate a sleek elegance, the dynamic shaping and expansive, understated glass and gloss surfaces generating the overall impression.
